The standard contact microphone for cello is a thin strip microphone which fixes to the bridge of the cello.

The tan coloured PVC protective cover is slightly wider than the bridge allowing ample surface to achieve good adhesion.

It is fixed using double sided self adhesive tape supplied in the kit.

The strip fixes to the under side of the bridge which is normally unvarnished so it may be easily removed if it is no longer required or to use on another instrument.

The power adaptor may be mounted on the tail-piece or the spike, mounting pieces are available for this.
