Edinburgh Harp Festival

30th March - 4th April 2012

Accusound will be at the 31st Annual Edinburgh International Harp Festival

Merchiston Castle School Edinburgh.

Accusound will have their own dedicated display room exhibiting their products. This year along side the recently launched Acoustic Amplifier will be the new portable/battery powered amplifier. There will also be a new preamplifier making it even easier to connect your harp or any other instrument into an amplification system. Plus the new lightweight headset microphone

All students and visitors to the exhibition are welcome to come and try the amp with one of the harps that will be on the stand already equipped with an Accusound harp contact strip (AC-SC-6v) or they may bring their own harp along and Accusound will fit a contact strip to it for test. Fitting takes only a few seconds and can be easily removed in the same time.

Mics for Bagpipes

Latvian group Auli use Accusound microphone systems for their bagpipes. The group have recently been performing at the 15th anniversary of the TV company LNT, Latvian National Television. These celebrations were held at the Latvian National Opera in October this year.

Christmas in Cape Breton

Ira Seigel, FOH engineer and tour manager for Natalie MacMaster's Christmas in Cape Breton tour in December 2011 has been using Accusound piano mics on their Steinway and Yamaha grand pianos. "I can't tell you how pleased I am with the results...Right from the start, with inimal testing, I was able to get sounds that were far superior to any of the other pickup systems I've tried."

Unfortunately Accusound won't be at the 11th World Harp Congress but we will be represented by IJHF (International Jazz Harp Federation) so go along and say hello. Brenda will have one of our new and brilliant acoustic amplifiers for you to try. She will also have a couple of harp microphone systems which you can also try. Brenda will be using one of our microphone systems for her performance on Tuesday 26th July.
