Technical background

Inventor...... developed relatively cheap kits for use in schools for teaching circuitry, pin hole camera, telescopes etc. This was when he was Head of Physics at Lutterworth Grammar School in the 1950's and early 1960's.

Developed and ran courses at the Lanchester Polytechnic in Rugby and Coventry for High School art and science teachers, the objective of which was to give them sufficient background to work with students on building applied science projects..... the Nuffield approach. Much of this also involved linkages with industry

Early retirement provided the opportunity to combine mathematics and physics knowledge with love of music and knowledge of the folk and acoustic music world. Understanding of the opportunities offered by piezzo material in the acoustic sound environment eventually lead to developing and patenting the Accusound system. Early users, mostly in folk and country music, expanded into the blues, jazz and classical arena with the capsule systems.
